For all Somerset locals. You are warmly welcome to join me at St Aldhelm’s Well in Doulting to celebrate the turning point of Autumn Equinox, with a water blessing ceremony and threshold crossing to focus your prayers and intention as we begin our descent into the darkness of the Underworld.

We will gather outside St Aldhelm’s church at 10:30am on Wednesday 22nd September and process together to the magical spring below, sharing songs and clearing the way for the water to flow freely. Joining our prayers and songs with the Worldwide Water Community activation circles for the protection and honouring of all water, we will hold silence for 22 minutes at 11am as we listen to the bubbling waters.

To support you to cross this threshold into Autumn, we will create a simple ritual to help let go of the past, celebrate your harvest and gather the seeds of intention for the months ahead, culminating in a crossing of the threshold between two majestic beech trees.

Bring with you a bowl l, a sheepskin or blanket to sit on, and a bottle to gather water to take away with you. As well as any flowers and offerings you feel to bring to adorn the spring.

Park on Farm road or Chelynch road and car share where possible. Please don’t bring cars down to the spring 🙏🏼
